Imperial College Business School Imperial MBA Scholarships
Imperial College Business School will offer these scholarships to outstanding candidates for the Imperial MBA. Scholarships will be awarded based on information supplied in your original application and during the interview for a place on the programme where academic and professional merit will be judged.
All candidates who apply to the Imperial MBA will automatically be considered for a Imperial College Business School Imperial MBA Scholarship. You will maximise your chances of being made an award the earlier you apply.
All scholarship applications are considered by Imperial College Business School’s scholarships board. Please note that the board’s decision is final and that no appeals will be granted.
MBA Scholarships for Women
Women are still under-represented in senior leadership positions. As part of our commitment to increasing the talented pool of women in business, we are delighted to offer scholarships to female candidates with outstanding potential for the full-time Imperial MBA.
To apply for a scholarship you must have an offer of a place on the Imperial MBA, a GMAT score of 650 (or above) and be able to convince us that:
- The Imperial MBA is the best choice of programme for you
- You have the potential to achieve positions of seniority and leadership within your chosen field
- You have a compelling vision of what your Imperial MBA will help you to achieve in the three years following graduation
- You have stretching but realistic goals for your life and career
- You are clear about the factors that differentiate you from other talented female MBA candidates
- You have particularly strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build and manage relationships with a diverse range of people.
Your application should include a supporting statement (maximum 1200 words) which discusses each of these areas and must be submitted by email to mba@imperial.ac.uk by 30 April 2010.
Rajiv Gandhi Scholarships
The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship has been established to help Indian and British companies improve performance in innovation management. The Centre provides channels of knowledge exchange between India and its global partners by effective integration of research, education, and practice. In celebration of this alliance, Imperial College Business School is delighted to offer prestigious Rajiv Gandhi scholarships for the Imperial MBA commencing in October 2010. Scholarships will be awarded to Indian full-time MBA candidates with outstanding potential from the following sectors:
- Digital Economy
- Energy and Environment
- Health and Healthcare
- Urban Infrastructure.
To apply for a scholarship you must have an offer of a place on the Imperial MBA and a GMAT score of 700 (or above). You should also be an Indian citizen, non-UK resident and able to convince us that:
- The Imperial MBA is the best choice of programme for you
- You have a clear understanding about how you will make a positive, and enduring, contribution to the life of the School, especially the factors that differentiate you from other talented MBA candidates
- You have a compelling vision of what your Imperial MBA will help you to achieve in the three years following graduation
- You have stretching but realistic goals for your life and career
- You are able to demonstrate that you have sought and achieved positions of leadership and responsibility outside your normal working environment
- You have particularly strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build and manage relationships with a diverse range of people
- Your involvement, experience and skill set would uniquely add to the Rajiv Gandhi Centre’s work in a specific theme (digital economy, energy, health or urban infrastructure)
- Your accomplishments and/or capabilities could help the Centre’s activities, for example, to do research, write industry reports, develop teaching material, and organise major events among others. Please highlight only areas of significant strength or accomplishment.
Your application should consist of a supporting statement (maximum 1500 words) which discusses each of these areas and must be submitted by email to mba@imperial.ac.uk by 1 April 2010.
