[Denmark] Phd Scholarships in Collaborative Innovation in the Public Sector, Roskilde University
The PhD-school of Society and Globalisation at Roskilde University, hereby announces two PhD- scholarships to be enrolled within the PhD-programme ‘Governance, Welfare and Citizenship’. The scholarships are part of a large research project on innovation in the public sector that aims to investigate the barriers and drivers of innovation produced in and through collaboration between professionals, users, politicians and mangers engaged in the formulation of public policy and the production of public services.
The title of one scholarship is ‘Management of collaborative innovation in the public sector’ while the title of the other scholarship is ‘Studying public sector innovation in collaborative networks’.
The scholarships which are co-financed by The Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation, The Danish School of Public Administration and Roskilde University are available from the 1st of September 2009 and run for a period of three years. The salary is in accordance with the general agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). Applicants must have a relevant master’s degree.

Roskilde University welcomes applications from candidates of any social and ethnic backgrounds irrespective of gender, age, religion or any other irrelevant criteria.
The application must be in English and include a CV, documentation (copies) of master’s degree and other relevant documentation of competences and a project description of maximum 5 pages. The description should include an outline of the problem area to be studied, the research questions raised, the theoretical approach taken and methodological considerations, as well as a work and time plan. In addition, the applicant must clarify which of the two scholarships the application concerns. The project description and other material should be forward in three copies to:
