This Master’s offers insight into the nature of development evaluation, as well as its relevance and challenges, at both a methodological and an institutional level. Students are familiarised with multidisciplinary analytical tools that will improve their capacity to understand interactions at the interface, and to contribute to an enhanced conceptualisation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development policies and programmes. The programme offers two tracks with specific objectives and courses:
- Track 1: Macro Dimensions of Aid.
- Track 2: Development Interventions and Local Institutional Change.
Master Scholarships 2011 in Aquaculture at Universiteit Gent
Sep 02This programme provides courses at university level on the most important aspects of aquaculture, for both marine and freshwater organisms. The programme takes a multidisciplinary, interuniversity and international approach, and aims at the acquisition of fundamental knowledge and skills with the main objectives being:
- to deliver researchers able to design and perform research in various aquaculture fields;
- to deliver experts who can draw and implement strategies for future development in the aquaculture industry;
- to form key persons who can act as a nucleus in their local environment through dissemination of their acquired knowledge;
- to deliver academically trained staff for the aquaculture industry.
University of Canterbury Scholarships 2011 for PhD & Master Studies
Sep 01The University of Canterbury (UC) offers a number of scholarships for study towards a PhD degree or for the thesis year of a Masters degree. There is strong competition for these scholarships and applicants must have at least an A average (or the equivalent) for it to be worth applying.
To be considered for a UC Masters or Doctoral scholarship, in addition to submitting a scholarship application form, a complete application for admission should be made before or at the same time as the scholarship application is made. If admission has not been approved by prescribed dates, the scholarship application will not be considered.
International Student Scholarships for Masters and PhD in Neuroscience, University of Tuebingen, Germany
Aug 30The Graduate Training Centre of Neuroscience is the first international neuroscience Graduate School was established at the University of Tübingen in 1999. In the future, three Schools will provide research oriented career tracks – leading to a master or doctoral degree – that provide an ideal preparation for a career in science and academia. University of Twente Master Scholarships 2011 for International Students
Aug 27The UT Scholarship is awarded by the Foundation University of Twente Scholarship Programme of the University of Twente. The UT Scholarship is meant for international students who show excellence, both academically as well as socially. The UT Scholarship is awarded for one year of study and is extended for a second year if study results are sufficient. Please note that you can only be nominated for the UT Scholarship after you have been (provisionally) accepted by the educational programme of your choice.
